Clone concept
Sometimes, when complex concepts with extensive definitions are to be modeled, it is easier to clone an existing concept and then introduce changes to differentiate both. For example, we have 36213007 |Endoscopy and brush biopsy (procedure)| with the following definition:
If a child of this concept is needed, like 'Endoscopy and brush biopsy of gastrointestinal tract' it will be much easier to clone the parent and create a procedure site than generating the new concept from scratch
