  1. Type a fully specified name with its semantic tag (otherwise, the semantic tag will be automatically created when the parent concept is added)
  2. Locate  parents parents in Search or Taxonomy tabs.
  3. Drag and drop a parent concept from   Taxonomy or from Search results (more than one parent may be dragged)

    Note

    A FSN-like synonym without the semantic tag will be automatically created, with ‘Preferred’ acceptability. IS_A relationships are generated in this way and the new concepts are placed under their parent concepts.

    A Similarity Search is automatically triggered and the results are displayed. If an exact match exists, the new concept will not be created


  4. Add one or more synonyms by clicking on the 'plus' icon on the right
  5. Press Create concept
  6. The result is shown in the taxonomy with the flag of the extension that is creating the new concept (green rectangle in the example).
