Quality Assurance Reports
To ensure that the terminology is compliant with SNOMED CT Technical specifications it is necessary to run periodic Quality Assurance Tests (QA). Many defects can be detected during editing, alerting the user about errors and preventing save actions. Batch QA Tests Runs that sweep the whole terminology to detect errors are still necessary, as errors can be imported from previous releases, or can be caused by complex interactions between different components that cannot be tested in real time during each save.
QA Tests runs are launched manually, and the history of QA Tests runs is visible in this panel.
Once the QA test is over, a number of tasks to be processed will be displayed. Each task includes all the concepts needing some modification to comply with RVF (Release Validation Framework) rules. The tasks are listed under the headline Test suites.
RVF
RVF (for Release Validation Framework) is the new IHTSDO's validation framework for quality asurance. If a release is integrated with the IHTSDO's RVF the results for a specified date are shown in a list, with the rule and the number of issues identified. Clicking on the number displays the list of affected concepts.
